My name is Mike Vickery and I live in Gilbert Arizona. I first started woodturning in 2002 and it has been my obsession ever since. After several years working on a smaller lathe making mostly pens, bottle stoppers and other smaller items I bought a full sized Woodfast 910 lathe in 2005.
Ever since then my obsession has lead me more towards bowls and hollow form, but I do still enjoying making pens and many of the smaller items. I am a current member of the American Association of Woodturners, Internation Association of Pen Turners, Arizona Woodturners Association and East Valley Art Guild. I take pride that most of the wood I use for my turnings was recyled from local construction sites and Local Tree Trimmers that I work with. Mike Vickery
